There have been plenty of articles over the years about the best Superdraft steals in MLS history. I'm sure everyone knows by now that Jeff Parke was the last pick of the 2004 draft, or that Jonathan Bornstein was a 4th rounder. Steve Davis gave us his top ten back in January at Soccernet in a nice piece. But I prefer the comprehensive approach. So I'm going to go through each draft position and single out the best picks ever. I'm including each year's "college" draft. So in other words, that would be the College Draft (1996-99), Superdraft (2000-08), and Supplemental draft (2005-08). Of course, this excludes the original draft to stock the league rosters, as well as the 1996-99 supplemental draft. read more »

Germanese logged 1020 minutes for the RailHawks U23s in 15 games played in 2007, scoring twice and adding 4 assists. Videira, who also played alongside Germanese at Duke University, played 760 minutes in 9 games while tallying a goal and an assist for our local PDL side last season. Both players were selected by the New England Revolution in the 2nd round of the draft with Videira going 18th while Germanese was selected 27th overall. read more »
